Team OverviewThe Employment Systems Group is responsible for implementing and supporting IT solutions to support the delivery of employment and workplace relations programmes. The Online Services Development and Engagement Branch and the Job Seeker Development Branch delivery high quality, complex web based applications used by Employment Service Providers, job seekers and employers. We work in a fast paced traditional and agile environment, apply robust project management methodologies and deliver innovative user platforms. The PositionAs an IT Project Manager, the successful applicant will Be responsible for the successful development and implementation of IT system solutions in line with SAFe agile principles (where appropriate) Manage a multi-disciplinary team between 15-25 staff Have strong programme and project management skills Have strong leadership skills Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills Be able to lead and manage change and take responsibility for continuous improvement processes Negotiate resources and budget allocations Manage recruitment and staffing processes. Oversee and prepare a range of written material including business cases, cabinet submissions, senate estimate submissions, ministerial and agency briefs when required.
