About the Role The function of the Network Support Engineer is to provide network support to customers in Cisco, Routing/Switching, Security, UCS and UC/Video technologies for Brisbane region and QLD. The role is based in Brisbane. The Network Support Engineer will also be required to assist in resolving customer networking issues while supporting Professional Services in the installation & deployment of new projects. Duties Liaise with customers to provide 2 nd & 3rd level Remote and onsite support. Complete level 1 - 3 support and perform onsite/remote diagnostics when required. Maintain and update customer CI database and documentations as required with appropriate details. Provide customer reporting and weekly report to Team lead. Assist other team members when required in onsite/remote diagnostics. Demonstrate full competency in installation, testing & maintenance of at least in Cisco Networking solutions. Escalate issues and faults to Advanced Services team or vendor where necessary. Perform preventative maintenance and do & charge activities. Ensure trouble tickets are closed off and reported in a timely manner. Perform regional run - up of equipment when required Raise the quality of standards & quality of services offered, measured on Customer service. This will include closure time of problems, response times, & customer survey. Work closely to support the Sales, Operations, SDM and Professional Services teams. Fully support & liaison with Professional services when working on projects. Deliver a seamless integration of National Customer Support Services. Predominantly customer focused. Achieve results within a predetermined time frame. Always maintain a flexible approach to the tasks at hand. Required Experience CCNP - R&S and/or CCNP Security and/or CCNP - Collaboration 5 Years Cisco Collaboration (CUCM, UCCX, Unity, Video) experience 5 years of experience in Multi - vendor Network Support environment. 5 years Cisco LAN Switches 2xxx/3xxx/4xxx/6xxx and Nexus 3xxx/5xxx/7xxx experience 5 years Cisco security products (eg ASA, Firepower, Umbrella or CWS, ISE) experience. 5 Years Cisco ISR, ASR and older Cisco platform Routers experience Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent problem resolution skills. Able to work to deadlines. CCNP - R&S and/or CCNP Security and/or CCNP - Collaboration Desired Skills Cisco UCS - B & C series experience Riverbed Steelhead experience Knowledge and experience of VMWare v5x/6x Knowledge and experience in Aruba/Cisco Wireless Experience with Cisco FlexiPod solutions using UCS.
