About the Position 6 Month Contract ASAP start Key Selection Criteria must be completed Looking for an application packager/tester in a Windows 10 environment for 6 months Your new company This business unit lies within the infrastructure and governance division in a well repeatable State Government organisation, it is a specialist centre of knowledge and expertise for the delivery of programs and projects. Your new role The application packager/technical test specialist will be responsible for the assessment of packaged software, to validate and verify that the deployment of software to the desktop results in a solution that is fit for purpose. Application Profiling (uplift or create application profiles) Preparation of the test environment (hardware and software) Design test cases/scripts Execute test cases/scripts Fault analysis (3rd level technical support minimum) Defect management Reporting - provide defect, progress and summary reports as required Developing and maintaining technical documentation pertaining to hardware and software Written assessment of various project produced artefacts (IE technical and/or design documentation) What you ll need to succeed Relevant qualifications (tertiary and/or industry based) demonstrated experience in the packaging of software in a Microsoft Windows environment for a Windows 8 or Windows 10 desktop, experience in working with a Government department technology unit Troubleshooting (analysis and resolution).
